Poster Presentations
New for 2011 Meeting: Abstract Submissions for Poster Presentations
From the very first Innovating for Continence Conference the organizers have drawn on a rich variety of approaches to inspire delegates keen to develop improved incontinence technology which truly meets the needs of its users. Lectures, workshops, interview panels and interactive sessions have all played their part. Now for this third conference we want to add the further dimension of a poster session.
We are keen to receive offers of an abstract from anyone whose work impacts incontinence technology and its users. The work might involve designing a new product or addressing some basic science issues but, equally it might involve clinical evaluation data or work to better understand the needs of consumers. Posters will be displayed in the refreshment area at the conference, and there will be a special 90-minute poster session to promote discussion, networking, and the diffusion of ideas across the boundaries between the numerous different disciplines of the conference delegates. We hope this will prove stimulating for all concerned and facilitate new and fruitful collaborations.
Everyone is invited to submit an abstract for consideration.Poster presentations are being solicited from: academics; students; individuals working in both incontinence related industries and in other areas of industry, healthcare professionals (physicians, nurses, therapists); and caregivers, etc.
Abstract submissions for poster presentations must be made as a MS Word file (.doc) and should be emailed to: 2011abstracts@simonfoundation.org on or before Friday, 7 January 2011. Notification of acceptance will be made by 22 January 2011.
Topics for poster submissions must be in line with the Meeting’s Purpose, which can be found at: http://www.simonfoundation.org/Meetings_Innovating_April_2011_Meeting_Purpose.html
